Adam Goldberg is the Acting Assistant Commissioner of the Office of Financial Innovation and Transformation (FIT) at the Treasury Department’s Bureau of the Fiscal Service. Within FIT, Adam supports financial management transformation initiatives that emphasize the use of new and emerging capabilities. His solutions have leveraged blockchain, robotic process automation, artificial intelligence, and advance data analytics. Adam’s previous positions gave him a multi-dimensional understanding of federal financial management leading to his current strategic role. He gained a deep understanding of financial management processes and systems while a management consultant. He transitioned to a policymaking role as a Branch Chief in the Office of Federal Financial Management at the Office of Management and Budget. These unique experiences have made Adam one of the most pragmatic and innovative financial managers in the federal government. Rounding out his distinctive career path, he served as a cash management advisor to the Ministry of Finance in the Republic of Guinea. Adam holds a BA in Political Science and History from the University of Rochester and an MPA from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University.
