Alana Daly started at the United States Postal Service Office of Inspector General in 2012 as a student co-op helping to produce internal training videos. After she graduated from California State University Long Beach with a Bachelor’s degree in Film and Electronic Arts, she took a full-time position as an auditor in the Network Processing directorate out of the Denver field office. While working at this agency, she has received an Assistant Inspector General Excellence Award for the Delayed Mail Validation audit and received a CIGIE Award for Excellence based on her work on the Assessment of the U.S. Postal Service’s Service Performance and Costs audit. Recently, she took a detail assignment to develop Microsoft Power BI data visualizations across the agency. While on detail, she developed and maintained the Election Mail dashboard utilized for over 2,000 site observations and daily updates to the Postal Service and weekly to Congress.
